“The grandmillienal style continues to reign in popularity, and this fall, we’ll see lots of pattern play. “In fashion this year, there were a lot of unexpected color palettes for spring and summer that infused their way into home decor collections. I predict this trend will continue into the fall season with colors such as red, pink, and green making an appearance for those who love color. “Everyone’s been so into bright colors and tones during the warmer months, but I’ve already been seeing rich, inky hues with a lot of texture everywhere. Think black faux pumpkins with lots of imperfections, for example—instead of the white, creamy ones that were in every store last year. I also think boho style as a whole is going to be a little less prevalent for autumn. “I expect to see the return of wine colors this fall, especially in textiles, such as table linens, throw pillows, and blankets. Vintage-inspired textile prints will also be trending this fall in those same wine-colored hues.
