In honor of September 15 kicking off Latinx Heritage Month, Yelp has released an extensive list of Latinx-owned businesses across the United States that have received love for their service, staff, goods, and more. Earlier this year, Yelp shared a similar list of businesses for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. After introducing a tag in 2020 to identify as a Latinx-owned business, over 37,000 businesses have used the feature on Yelp.

In a partnership with Afro-Latinx actress and singer Christina Milian, Yelp highlighted 15 different Latinx-owned businesses, including Beignet Box, her restaurant serving sweet Southern goodies throughout Los Angeles. This year’s selection of furniture stores have an incredible collection of home goods, knick-knacks, accessories, kitchenware, and vintage furniture across states like Florida, Texas, Washington, California, and Missouri. The holiday season is somehow very near, so keep these stores bookmarked for the incoming gift giving time of the year.

Cena Luna’s catchphrase is: for the table, counter, and shelf. Their short summary barely touches on the unique offerings available at their Stockton location and online like the variety of colorful glassware, colorful creativity journal, and tasty pantry staples.

Yelp review: “I seriously love this store on the Miracle Mile! It’s quickly become my go-to place for meaningful gifts for friends and family, and I almost always end up picking up some thing for our house.”

Zee Bee Market is an ethical retail store with two locations in the St. Louis area, and they’ve got a lot of gift guide ideas prepared for the holidays. Their gem is the gorgeous accent pillows that are handmade from different locations around the world.

Yelp review: “I’ve stopped by Zee Bee Market twice for unique, beautifully made gifts. Both times i’ve spoken with very helpful and knowledgeable staff.”

Located within the entertaining city of Orlando in the Sunshine State, Warehaus may own the pink couch or vintage credenza of your dreams. From high-end furniture to antique rattan pieces, a visit to Warehaus is definitely worth your time.

Yelp review: “Gotta love this highly curated furniture, decor, and clothes shop. They source vintage furniture from around the country and bring in textiles and mirrors from abroad. Everything is chic and it ranges from bohemian to mid-century modern — perfect for an IG ready aesthetic!”

Revival Vintage is a local favorite among the Austin community for mid-century furniture, and they don’t shy away from highlighting their vintage clothing, too. Luckily, they upload photos of their antique furnishings on their Instagram account, so you won’t miss out on your dream chair or coffee table.

Yelp review: “Great local vintage shop with a super great staff, very helpful.”

Not only does Rancho Diaz have impeccable home decor (like their culturally-inspired artwork), but have you seen their accessories? Their website has an abundance of decor, gifts, kitchenware, and furniture to view online if you’re not in the San Antonio area.

Yelp review: “Great home goods shop with unique items and fair prices. I picked up a vintage enamel oval Dutch oven for $75 that was in great condition. Highly recommend.”

Located in Washington, Kindred Homestead Supply is well-known for their affordable, low-waste products for their sustainable shoppers. Between their cost-effective bulk refills and garden-friendly gifts, this shop is a perfect place to keep in mind during the holiday season.

Yelp review: “This is the store that my store dreams are made of — cute, aesthetic, spacious, well-lit, and extremely good sustainable offerings. I went in on a whim while on my walk and was so mesmerized that I ended up spending quite a lot of time here.”
