From his greenhouse to vegetable patches, Adam gave viewers a sneak peak.

Adam Frost has teased his new 'scaled back' garden, after revealing to fans on Gardeners' World that he had recently moved house.

The Chelsea Flower Show garden designer was previously living at his sprawling Lincolnshire farmhouse, but said he moved to 'slow down' and spend more time with his family. While Adam's new garden is smaller than his previous three-acre outdoor space, it's still remarkably impressive. Features so far include a greenhouse, vegetable patch, stepping stones, fire pit, and pretty lawn area.

'It is only early days in this garden, but as you can imagine my head is buzzing with ideas,' Adam told Gardeners' World viewers. 'I've started my veg garden and I think the first thing I want to do over the next couple of months is go and visit other veg gardens to get some inspiration. Here, it's just about slowing down, seeing what comes out of the ground and then we can work out how to move forward.'

'Like so many of us over the last couple of years, I had time to just stop and think. Probably, in reality for the first time since I was about 16 years old, and realised that my life is slightly chaotic,' said Adam on Gardeners' World.

'So as a family, we've just decided to scale back, so I can spend more time with them — but it does mean I've got a smaller garden. But I don't think that's a bad thing.'

The top of Adam's garden — something which he calls the 'upper terrace' — looks down at the rest of the space. Here, he has opened it up, taken out a shrub and containerised some of the plants from the old house. 'The drainage is going to be good, because ultimately we're so much higher,' Adam explained.

'Look at my greenhouse!' Adam told viewers. 'When you move from somewhere slightly bigger and then downsize, you don't realise quite how many pots you have.'

Adam said he was trying to get ahead with veggies and put some squashes in pots. He made holes around 3cm deep in the soil and popped in small butterbaby (winter squash) seeds, covering the holes with peat-free compost.

The green-fingered presenter also revealed a charming alfresco dining area, which features an L-shaped garden sofa with a matching coffee table. While Adam said it was a north-facing garden, he explained that the sun hits in all the right places.

Adam's smaller garden also features a luscious lawn, stepping stones, a privacy-giving fence, and surrounding borders made from soil and flowers.

Much like many of us in the UK, Adam said his garden is overlooked by some of the surrounding houses. His tip? 'Look at the gardens around you. It might not be a negative that you're overlooked — there might be some positives. I planted some amelanchiers that will provide some privacy as the seasons change.'

Adam's front garden is more exposed than the back space, mainly because it's situated across from the road.

'What I've decided to do here is make it into a veg garden. I'm going to spend an awful lot of time in here growing for the family,' he said. 'It's a little bit of a building site at the moment, but these timber edges are going to sit the whole way around. This space gets really warm, so the fruits and veggies are going to love it.'

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers were given a glimpse of Adam's rustic fire pit — the ultimate summer garden accessory.
